Does anyone have any advise on what product would be best to use to give a stage a white glossy top.  We have used tile board in the past but wondered if there was a lighter way to do it without seams?

I've usually used the tileboard, too. Just brainstorming here, if you're going on a pretty hard surface (like, not over carpet) you might be able to use thin plastic sheeting, like ABS or polyethylene. I guess it would have seams, but would be lighter. Of course, there's always Rosco showfloor if you have the bucks.
