ETCP – Setting the Stage for Safety!

June 15, 2010

The Entertainment Technician Certification Program (ETCP) has set the standard for safer working practices, thereby reducing workplace risk. ETCP awards certification to entertainment riggers and electricians who have undergone a rigorous assessment of their knowledge, skills, and abilities. More and more employers and venues are requiring ETCP certification in lead positions. You may become certified through ETCP in the following areas: Rigger– Arena, Rigger–Theater, and Entertainment Electrician. More information about ETCP can be found at etcp.esta.org; candidates may also request materials by contacting Meredith Moseley- Bennett at certification@esta.org or +1.212.244.1505.
